Mask a face in four steps

  1. Import photos: Choose one or more JPG, PNG, or WebP files, or select a folder for a batch.
  2. Run local detection: The face detector runs in your browser and creates an editable masking area for every face it finds.
  3. Review the masks: Real pixelation is selected by default. Move or resize each area, switch to a sticker, and add a manual mask over missed faces.
  4. Export protected copies: Download the current image or package the reviewed batch as a ZIP file.

Automatic detection still needs a human check

Small, strongly angled, partially hidden, dark, or cropped faces may be missed. Inspect the full image at its real output size before publishing it. Names, number plates, addresses, and other identifying details are outside automatic face detection.

When to use pixelation or a sticker

Pixelation

Pixelation visibly reduces facial detail and keeps a consistent editorial style across a photo set. Make the region large enough to cover the complete face, not only the eyes.

Privacy stickers

Stickers work well for casual social posts. Check transparent edges and rotate or enlarge the sticker when a face is angled.

Do photos leave your device?

Photo import, face detection, editing, and export happen in the current browser session. The server provides the application, detection model, and sticker assets, but it does not receive the photos you select.
